Compact Disc celebrates 30 years!

The compact disc (compact disc in English), or more commonly known as CD, is celebrating its 30th anniversary! Well, this is not entirely accurate, since it is actually the first CD player that was sold on 1 October 1982 in Japan. So for many of you, the CD has always been part of your life, but for quarantine, it was a time when the CD would become a revolution, this time he would replace the vinyl is ie 45 and 33 rpm. I must say that the CD, the joint invention of Philips and Sony, briefly presented many advantages and very logically, it is normal to take the place of vinyl: no wear from reading, one size 12 centimeters in diameter assuring portability issue, but also a sound quality superior to that of other vinyl and cassettes.

The CD is already part of the past for some, and it will probably even a day for our MP3 ... it's going too fast!
