Production of the iPad Mini would have started at Foxconn in Brazil




So the rumors are about to be confirmed. It would appear that production of the next toy Apple has started in Brazil.

Japanese blog Macotakara says the Apple began to organize the production of the Mini in Brazil. It is not clear however whether operations have also begun in China.

The iPad Mini, which is supposed to compete with the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire, will cost less than the iPad classic. The user experience should, however, remain more or less identical

According to Rob Bamforth, analyst at Quo Circa, the iPad Mini is equipped with a Retina display, allowing it to stand out from its competitors.

According to MacRumors, Foxconn has worked hard to increase the production of iPhones and iPads in Brazil, negotiating with the government to obtain tax benefits, provide jobs for the local population, and enable partners like Apple avoid very high import duties in the 5th most populous country in the world
